LOCAL YOUNG GIRL Doris Olson DIED LAST NIGHT AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Doris Olson, daughter of Mrs. Olof Olson died at her home here Wednesday evening, after an illness of about a year with tuberculosis. She spent several months at the Oakdale Sanitorium but showed no signs of regaining strength, so returned to her home here two weeks ago.

Doris was a senior in the local high school and would have earned her diploma in a few short weeks. She is survived by her mother, two brothers, Harold, in the Air Corps in South Carolina, and Noel, a prisoner of the Japs in the Philippines when last heard from. There are also a number of of other relatives and a host of friends of Doris, who will miss her pleasant smile greatly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 o'clock in the St. Petri Lutheran church, Rev. S. T. Nelson officiating.
