Elderly Man Left No Trace

Elderly Man Disappears From Here on Fourth of July and Has Not Been Heard of Since - Foul Play is Feared

Henry Erickson, a man about fifty years of age, came here last year from Canada, having left family and all, and at once secured work from farmers around here. Last winter he secured work at the A. Skromme place and worked steadily never going to town and consequently not spending any money.

On the morning of the Fourth of July, he stated that he would be back early for chores, but since that time nothing has been hear or seen of him. Mr. Skromme stated the other day that he still owed him considerable for work and that the day he left he must have had in the neighborhood of $75.00, and as he was of a rather morose and despondent nature, it is feared that he may have met with foul play, or that he has killed himself. Meanwhile Mr. Skromme is at a loss as to what course to take in the matter.
