The angel of death called for another one of the bright little boys of Rock valley Wednesday Afternoon. At 5 O’clock Eugene the 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Maher, after only four day battling with inflammation of the bowels passed on to an undying life that is free from sin and pain. A singular coincident was that he died on his birthday. The funeral services will be held from the Catholic church at 2 o’clock today. All the school children who were his Classmates will attend in a body and assist in laying to rest one whom they greatly loved.
