Robert Luymes was born 9 Jan 1852 Netherlands died 17 Nov 1880 Orange City IA. He was the son of Hermanus Johannes Luymes 1824-1912 and Hendrika Sophia Mulder 1825-1886. He married Aaltje ‘Alice’ Van Tol born 1852 IA and died 2 Mar 1939 Yakima WA as Mrs. James Den Beste. Alice was the daughter of Willem Van Tol 1829-1857 and Antje VanderMeer De Haan 1830-1871. Robert and Alice had two children Herman Luymes born 1874-1940 and Anna Luymes DenBeste Smith 1879-1900.
