The estate notices were in the paper of Sioux County stating Feb 1976, however no obituary was found, as is typical for the Matlock area as most time the obits were carried in the Sheldon newpspapers.

From a family report on ancestry.com (done by other family members) John H. Tutje was born 21 Feb 1907 Grant Tsp. Sioux County IA and died Jan 1976 Matlock IA. He was the son of Jacob Henry Tutje 1870-1948 and Florence Imogene Fassett 185-1936. He was married to Leona W. Reemstsma born 1905 died 2002. Two children were listed in this report as Donna Jean Tutje 1933-1966 and Lavern Lee Tutje 1935-1940. This report indicated that John H. Tutje had been married in 1925 to Elizabeth Parker born 1905 died?, listed no children.
