Assuming This child was the son of Peter and Elizabeth Hemmer. See Elizabeth’s obit for more family details Elizabeth (Diesberg) Mrs. Peter 1862-1896. Peter Hemmer born 1860 died 1920 Caledonia MN.

In the 1885 Iowa State census the only family living in Sioux County at Granville was the Peter Hemmer family, Peter 34, Elizabeth 32, and children Eva 8, Fred 6, and John 4.
