The submitter of this death found the family very hard to trace due to the spellings of the surname.

In 1885 Iowa State census there was a family living in Wheeler Tsp of Sac County Iowa (where Mary W. born 1883 was born) Gust A. Gustafson, age 42 born Sweden, his wife Mary C. age 37 born Sweden, Children listed were Frank 8, Emily 6, Elma 4, and Minnie 2. Minnie would have been born 1883 and could well be this Mary.

In 1895 census of Storm Lake, Beuna Vista County IA was living Mary Gustavson age 48.
