She was the daughter of Jan Jacobs Sytzes Van Dijk 1830-1894 and Tjaltje Ales Wybenga 1830-1908. They had two children Lucy Dyks 1883-1933 and Libbe William Dyke 1885-1951. Wybe married a second time and had a large family.
