Quite sure the parents were as follows.
See obit of Mrs. W. W. Minnie Cocroft 1859-1917 no mention of a baby loss. She was Minnie Alice Tompkins. Husband William W. Cocroft 1850.

The family as posted on ancestry.com (by others) William W. Cocroft born Jan 1850 Rochester WI died Jan 1924 Janesville WI wife Alice Tompkins born Dec 1858 died a7 June1917 Excelsior MN. In 1894 they were living in Rock Valley IA when son Donald 1894-1979 was born, in 1900 they were living in Rock Valley IA, Children were less the baby noted here - Grace 1881-1956, Frank 1883-1963 and Donald 1894-1979.
