In the 1885 Iowa census of Lincoln Tsp Sioux County, lists Zac Ballard 35 born NY and Jennie Ballard 20 (30) born IL. Their child Grace Ballard 4 born IL.

A family report on ancestry.com (by others) lists Zachary Taylor Ballad born 26 Feb 1850 New York died 6 Dec 1941 Bexar Texas, his wife was Geneva ‘Jennie’ Ramsdell 1854-1917, Children listed Ruby 1873, Pearl 1876, Grace 1880-1944 and Charles Lloyd Ballard 1894-1928. No mention of this baby’s birth or death.

They were in Sioux County IA a few years from 1890-1895 approx.
