Rock Valley, IA: Robert G. Moeller, 82, of Rock Valley, Iowa, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Whispering Heights in Rock Valley. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 15, at 10:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church of rural Sioux Center, Iowa with Rev. William Loefke officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery of Rock Valley. Visitation, with the family present, will be held Sunday, November 14, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley. The family will be directing memorials to Parkinson’s research.

Robert G. Moeller was born on August 8, 1939, in Rock Valley, Iowa, to Hans and Catharine (Tank) Moeller. He was the third of 4 siblings. He married the love of his life, Mary Jo Moeller on September 22, 1962. He served in the South Dakota Air Guard for 6 years and worked on the family farms with his brother until his retirement. He was an active member of the Peace Lutheran Church and served on the board of Farmers Co-op Elevator. He enjoyed Pepsi, candy, and chocolate in addition to spending time with his family. He was the ultimate husband, father, and grandfather preferring to spend time with his loved ones over anything else.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; four children, Roger Moeller and Melinda Brooks, Mark and Tammy Moeller, Rachel Van Kalsbeek and Todd Bradwisch, and Robin and Joel Arends; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Harold Moeller, Marcea Clary, and Karen Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his mother Catharine, father Hans, son, James, and daughter-in-law, Kathy.
