Rites Held For Miss M. Barry

Funeral services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at 10:00 a.m. for Miss Margaret Evelyn Barry 72, of Rock Valley in St. Mary’s Catholic church with the Rev. Father Richard E. Zenk officiating. Burial was in St. Mray’s cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral home.

Rosary was recited June 10, 8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home. Pall bearers were Martin Cullinan, Ralph Hauser, Robert Buckley, Francis McNamara, Jerry Haas, and Tommy Higgins.

Miss Barry died Monday at the Rock Rapids nursing home. Margaret Barry was born February 6, 1897 in Rock Valley, She was a retired grade school teacher.

Survivors are three brothers, Paul, William and Claire of Rock Valley, three sisters, Mrs. Chares Schmitt and Ethyle Barry of Sioux Falls and Mrs. John Haas of Iowa Falls.
