We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Wheelock, Mother of Hon. A. B. Wheelock of Eden. The remains were brought to this place last night and taken by the 2: 28 train to Milwaukee for interment. The relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement.
Arthur B. Wheelock born Apr 1832 Vermont lived in Sioux Falls SD in 1900 census. Wife Cynthia E. 59 and daughter Alice 27. His death record state his father was Peter Wheelock and his mother was Castina Buck.

A Family report on ancestry.com confirms that she was Chastina Eliza Buck born Mar 18, 1811 Lyme Grafton NH died 8 Apr 1880 Lincoln County SD, daughter of Amasa Buck Jr. 1784-1852 and Polly Smith 1791-1875. She married Peter Wheelock born 1803-1886, Children listed were Martha R. Wheelock 1830-1913, Arthur Buck Wheelock 1832-1925, Mary Elizabeth Wheelock 1834-1865 and Sarah France Fanny Wheelock 1839-1919.
