As we have gathered, Mr. Herman Sandbulte died and Kees De Graaf died at Maurice. Both are well known here.

Mr. W. Duven went to Maurice on Tuesday on the occasion of the death of Mr. De Graaf is 30 years old. He died of influenza. He was employed there. The remains will be transported to Grand Rapids Mich.

(there was an obit in the DeVolksvriend of Jan 16th for Cornelis De Graaf however it was cut off on the left edge as not to be able to retrieve the full text. It was signed names his brother in Michigan and Bert Den Ouden en Gade Maurice IA.)

Submitter of this obit could not determine more about this Cornelis de Graaf. His brother in Michigan possibly may have been as: In the census of 1920 there was a William de Graaf born about 1888 Neth with wife Nellie about 1886. They came to USA 1909.
