On Saturday news that , Mrs. Colenbrander and baby and her mother, Mrs. Van Ommeren died. This was another sad event. Mrs. Colenbrander, who lived not far from Sanborn, was ill and her mother, Mrs. Van Ommeren went there to care for her and she too became ill. Mother and daughter, as well as the latter's baby, have all died, and on Saturday the funeral of all three took place at Carmel. The Family can be assured of our sincere condolences.

Mrs. J. Kolenbrander passed away in Sanborn where Mrs. Van Ommeren van Carmel was to care for her, who also later died herself. Most of the sick here with the flu, as far as we know, are convalescing and not many new cases of the flu in recent days.
