Message of death
Monday, Sep 24, after a short but severe illness of a few days, the Lord took to see our darling, Jeane, not yet five years old. This loss strikes us as our hearts are attached to her and it is always so painful as we miss our own dear child.
But the God of the covenant, who said to be the God of our seed, is our consolation. She is then ahead of us, and may her go draw our hearts more heavenward.
The Lord has given, the Lord has taken, his name be praised. Friends and neighbors are given thanks for the help and sympathy shown at the illness, the death and the funeral of our child. We also wish to thank the many friends who have sent cards and letters of sympathy. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Den Herder and Children.
