Translated:
Old S. Gorter died on Friday at the age of more than 82 years. Monday, the funeral took place from the house of death. About seven years ago his wife preceded him into eternity. Mr. Gorter was one of the old settlers who came here from Pella. He has lived in several places in America and he last here from Roseland IL.
