Tuesday morning, Mr. E. Dijkhuizen in the age of almost 85 years. His departure was soft. Herewith goes again the very strong of our legs and one of the old settlers . Mr. Dijkhuizen was in Sioux Center in Sioux County for 40 years. He was a deacon for many years in the First Ref. Church. For the past six months, Mr. Dijkhuizen's decline and the sad demise of one of the twin sons seems to have broken the otherwise strong man. The funeral will take place Friday, at half past one at home and at two in the First Rev. Church. Mr. Dijhuizen is survived by his second wife and three young children.
