Research note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) lists Hendrik ‘Henry’ Peerbolte born 15 Apr 1859 South Holland IL died 20 May 1923 Muskegon, MI son of Gerrit Hendrik Peerbolte 1818-1905 and Hadewij “Hattie’ Vander Aa 1828-1868, Wife Henrietta Koster 1866-1932. One child listed Hattie Peerbolte 1886-1981 who was Mrs. Bert Poppen 1880-1938.

At Muskegon has died on Saturday, Mr. H. Peerbolte, well known here. Mr. Peerbolte lived here for Years as a carpenter and lived in the house now belonging to G. Overman. He was a member of the Chr. Ref. Church where he served as a deacon for years. For health reasons, they moved to Denver. Their only daughter married Dr. Bert Poppen who practices in Muskegon. Mr. and Mrs. Peerbolte spent part of the year in Denver for the last few years and part with his children in Muskegon, MI.
