In Memoriam
Whereas, the Powers that be have seen fit to remove from our midst during the past week on of the most highly respected citizens of the county and a fellow member of this organization, J. M. Van Wyk, who has do ably served on the board and active on all committees in the Sioux County Bureau. Extend our heartfelt sympathy.

J. M. Van Wyk of Hull passed away last Wednesday night following an operation for bowel trouble. Mr. Van Wyk took an active part in civic and church affairs. He was one of the directors of the Iowa Grain Dealers Association, president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Association of Sioux and Lyon counties and he was also president of the Hull Building and Loan Association. He is survived by his wife and one son, who is the present deputy county auditor of Sioux county.
