Friday, Feb 3, died at the home of her children, Mr. and Mrs. Isaak Van der Schaaf, Mrs. Annetje Groeneweg (error Groeneveld), born Luchtenberg. Is the age of 81 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was born in Dieren, Gelderland Netherlands and also married in the Netherlands to Hendrik Groeneveld. About 37 years ago they moved to America, lived for a short time in Wisconsin and came to Sioux Center. Some 26 years ago her husband was taken by death. Ever since she got here, the deceased mother has been injured all those years under Sioux Center. For the past nine years she has been living at home with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Isaak Van der Schaaf, where she died after a short period.
Whenever there was talk about the agony that the Christian has here on earth, she could have a say through experience. She struggled that made her always concerned about her state of the soul. But the desire for the Lord to live was felt eagerly. Trusting in Christ, the only ground of salvation she has passed away.
