Kuyper, Jacob born 13 Aug 1834 Charlois Zuid Holland Netherlands, died 17 Jun 1913 Alton, Iowa. Buried at Carmal IA.

From a report on line by others, his wife was Gerrigje ‘Gertrude’ Betten born 26 Mar 1846 Noordeloos, Zuid Holland Netherlands died 3 Jan 1905 Carmel, Iowa. Jacob was the son of Arie Cornelius Kuyper 1810-1880 and Maria Adrianna Streefkerk 1806-1863. They were the parents of a large family.

Died Tuesday of cancer at the age of nearly 79 years, Mr. J. Kuyper. The deceased had only lived in our place for a few months, having come here from Carmel. He had lived in Sioux county for over 20 years. The funeral service will be held under the direction of Rev. P. de Jonge, on Thursday morning at home at half time and eleven o'clock in the Ref. Chuch or Carmel, where the remains will be delivered. We extend our condolences to the children.
