Henrietta Beckmann
Henrietta Beckmann, 86, of Granville, died Sunday, Feb. 6,1994 at the Orange City Hospital after a brief illness.
Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Granville. The Rev. Ronald J. Reicks officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.
Henrietta was born Aug. 31, 1907 in rural Granville, daughter of John and Catherine (Rolling) Beckmann. She grew up and attended school in the Granville area. She cared for her parents until they died and for her brother
Clarence on the family farm for most of her life. She retired with her brother into town in the fall of 1972.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the church guild.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. William (Marina) Ecker, and a brother Clarence, both of Granville; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frank (Nina)Beckmann of Primghar, Mrs. Elmer (Mercedes) Beckmann of Gran ville and Mrs. Ray (Veronica) Beckmann of Wilmont, Minn.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Raymond, Frank and Elmer, and two sisters, Frances, as a child, and Mrs. Louis (Petronella) Stoll.
