Mrs. Arthur Ryan the subject of this sketch passed to the Great Beyond at Sioux Falls SD, Monday at 10 a.m. after an illness of over two years. The cause of her death was lung trouble. Her remains were brought to Hull Wednesday and taken to the house of her brother, Dan Murphy where on Thursday at 10 o'clock the furneral services were conducted by the Rev. Father Phelan, the interment being at the Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Ryan was born in Wisconsin in 1865 and died at the age of 37. She was married to Arthur Ryan at Sioux City Sep 7, 1882. She was preceded to the better land by a husband and two children. There remains to mourn her departure three small children, four sisters and three brothers. A sympathetic community extends to the bereaved ones a full measure of sympanty in this hour of sorrow
