Employment: Employed by Husker News after finishing high school; she then worked for Hess Benefit Society for more than 20 years. She was a farmer’s wife and loved living on the farm and fixing meals for the guys during fieldwork time.

Hobbies/Interests: Earlier in their marriage, Carol and Richard enjoyed square dancing and polka music; enjoyed being an active member of the Red Hat Society, and regularly keeping up with her friends there
