Employment: Early in their marriage, the couple lived in Oakland, IA, and Virginia worked in clothing sales; in 1977 they moved to Shelby County and she became a farmer’s wife

Hobbies/Interests: Was active in 4-H while growing up; she later was a 4-H Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother; enjoyed quilting with the church women; liked spending time tending her vegetable and flower gardens
