Education: graduated from Harlan (IA) High School; attended Normal Training, to teach school.

Marriage: Thede Burmeister, May 31, 1936, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, IA.

Employment: After attending Normal Training, she taught country school for 7 years, west of Harlan, IA. After she was married in 1936, she farmed with her husband. Retired in 1972.

Hobbies/Interests: Lifelong member, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, IAS; was active in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Women activities and particularly enjoyed quilting for mission purposes.
