Survived by: Sons, Karl (spouse, Judith) Greve of Ellsworth, IA and Calvin Greve of Ocala, FL; sisters, Dorothy (spouse, Victor) Hoogensen of Harlan, IA and Elaine Christoffersen of Kimballton, IA; brother, Harvey (spouse, Doris) Greve of Walnut, IA, 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren

Employment: after leaving school, he worked for various local farmers; farmed for 6 years after first marriage, and then purchased a trucking company. After the death of his seconds wife, he continued to operation a gas station and tire service. Retired January 2008.

Hobbies/interests: active member, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, IA; in his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball; later coached the Jacksonville cub team for 9 years; liked to golf, bowl, dance, and play cards, especially Jacksonville Pitch. Possessed a great sense of humor.
