Survived by: Sons, Jon Wahling of Columbus, Ohio, and Eugene (spouse, Lynda) Wahling, Dennis (spouse, Norma) Wahling, and David Wahling, all of Shelby, IA; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends

Hobbies/Interests: Member, United Lutheran Church, Shelby, IA; she taught Sunday School classes and was active with the church women; Member, Shelby Community Club; served as Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star; was on many school committees. Mada treasured her life as a homemaker and farm wife; enjoyed oil painting and writing, and loved holidays, particularly Christmas
