Last rites for Richard H. Schwarz, 70, father of Thomas Schwarz, Lowden, were held at St. Ann's Catholic church, Long Grove, Dec. 1, 1990 with burial in St. Ann's cemetery. Mr. Schwarz died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Nov. 28.

Mr. Schwarz married Mary Klindt in Bettendorf in 1942. He was a retired farmer and past chairman of the Scott county Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service committee.

He is survived by his wife; 3 daughters, Virginia (Mrs. Anthony) Solis, Downers Grove, Ill.; Margaret Kundel, Eldridge and Mary Ann Schwarz, Davenport; 8 sons, Richard A., Joseph, James and Timothy, Davenport; Thomas, Lowden; Steve, LeClaire and Arthur and Paul, Eldridge; 20 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Blanche O'Callaghan, Miami, Fla. and Viola (Mrs. Wendell) Fish, Ft. Madison and 2 brothers, Andrew, Naples, Fla. and Victor (Pete) Davenport.
