Vernon C. Egland, 88, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday at the church. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park.

Mr. Egland's obituary will be published at a later date in the Quad-City Times.
