The Sac Sun - Thursday, December 15th, 1927 - Ellis Breon died on Tuesday afternoon at the Breon home of his nephew, Oscar Breon at 1400 Duncombe street in his 73rd year. Funeral services will beheld at the Breon home this afternoon. Pall bearers will be John, Henry, William, and Ed Philips, Bert Van Vleet and Lars Halverson. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

Ellis Breon, the son of Valentine and Catherine Breon, was born on July 4, 1855 in Green township, Clinton county, PA. When he was a small child he moved with his parents to Illinois. In 1880 they came to Iowa and resided on a farm and 22 years ago he came to Sac City. Mr Breon was never married. During the last 18 years, he made his home with his nephew and niece, Mr and Mrs Oscar Breon.

On Tuesday afternoon Mr Breon went out to bring an armful of wood into the house for the stove and fell and died almost immediately. For the last four years he has been unable to work and for 2 years he has been in very poor health but death came quite unexpectedly.

He is survived by one brother, Samuel Breon of Lytton and two sisters, Mrs Ida Frazer of Kent, IL and Mrs Chas. Brouchous, also of Illinois, besides several nephews and nieces and many friends.
