October 22, 1943 ~ December 25, 2013Gabriel Edward Boeckman was born October 22, 1943, and passed away on December 25, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, V. Jean Boeckman; both parents, and three siblings, Donna Mae, Michael and Joseph.
He is survived by their three daughters and their families, Cheryl and Brian, Dylan and Trevor, Amana and Steve and Barb and Randy, Ryan and Becca, and nine siblings, Patricia, Morris, Gene, Ione, Agnes, Vernonica, Raphael, Marie and Paul.
Services were conducted at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Mount Ayr, Iowa on Saturday, December 28, 2013, with Rev. David J. Polich officiating. Organist was Peggy Worthington. Lector was Mike. Gifts were by Paul and Veronica. Eucharist ministers were Tony and Ann.
Casket bearers included Steve Rothanzl, Ryan Ray, Randy Ray, Dylan Misel, Trevor Misel and Brian Misel.
Honorary pallbearer was Rebecca Ray.
Burial was in the Redding Cemetery in Redding, Iowa. Watson-Armstrong Funeral Homes in Mount Ayr was in charge of the arrangements.
