OBITUARY ~ MARGARET HELEN "PEGGY" (EISEMAN) ABARR
December 13, 1940 ~ January 05, 2014

Margaret "Peggy" Abarr, 73, of Clearfield, passed away January 5, 2014 at the Clearview Home in Clearfield. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Sat. January 11, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Clearfield. Pastors Shurmaine McAlpine and Tim Maxa will officiate the service. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday service time at the United Methodist Church in Clearfield. Burial will be at a later date at the Clearfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be given to St. Judes and New Nodaway Humane Society. Online condolences may be left under the obituary category at www.watsonarmstrongfh.com.

Margaret "Peggy" Helen Eiseman was born December 13, 1940 in Montgomery, Alabama to Willard Andrew Eiseman and Helen Margaret (Huff) Eiseman. She graduated from Darien High School in Connecticutt, but lived many places throughout her life. Peg later attended Southwestern Community College and got her nursing degree. Peg was united in marriage to Larry Abarr, while living in San Francisco, CA and they later divorced. She loved her work as a nurse, and worked many years at the Clearview Home in Clearfield as the Assistant Director of Nursing.

Peg is survived by two daughters, Leslie Chandler (significant other David Cuenca) of Maryville, MO and Darla (husband Jeff) Moen of Stockton, CA; one son, Nic Abarr of Maryville, MO; two brothers, Retired Lt. Col. Patrick Eiseman of Tempe, AZ and Stephen Eiseman of Black Mountain, NC; two sisters, Jane Eiseman of Lakebay, WA and Pamela (husband Hank) Conroy of Ansonia, CT; four grandchildren: Lynne, Ian, Melissa, and Mathew; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Andrew.

[Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the United Methodist Church, Clearfield, Iowa. Inurnment was made at Clearfield Cemetery, Clearfield, Iowa.]
