OBITUARY ~ ANNA CHRISTINA (HOLMS) HAIDSIAK

Beloved person, Anna Christina, was born July 24, 1883 to Charles and Sophia GRANT HOLMS in Page County, Iowa and departed this life January 29, 1975, at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 5 days.

On November 6, 1901, Anna was united in marriage to John F. HAIDSIAK. To this union ten children were born.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John; 3 daughters, Hazel, Ethel and Lucile; a grandson; a great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; her parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are Helen HUNTER, Frank and Vivian HAIDSIAK, Fae and Nina DUKES, Wayne and Jean HAIDSIAK, Otis and Vera CARSON, Max and Lois HAIDSIAK and Harold and Annabel WALKUP; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and hosts of friends and relatives.

A private family memorial service were held in her home with sons and daughters present. Words of comfort were given by Rev. Swan. The memorial service held at 1:00 p.m. in Blockton Methodist Church of which Anna was a devout member was conducted by Rev. Jerrold SWINTON.

Interment was at Polsley Cemetery, Yorktown [IA]. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her grandsons.
