OBITUARY ~ LEATRICE M. RINEHART

Leatrice M. RINEHART, 85, of Mount Ayr died Aug. 14, 2011, in Mount Ayr.

She was married July 12, 1946 to Calvin Coolidge RINEHART who preceded her in death on July 14, 2011.

She is survived by her children: Danny RINEHART of Davis City, IA, Jerry RINEHART of Des Moines, IA, and Debbie BURTON of Maloy; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. today, Aug. 17, at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Mo. The Rev. Brent BAXLEY officiated. Interment was in Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, Mo.

OBITUARY ~ LEATRICE M. (GOLLIDAY) RINEHART

Leatrice M. RINEHART was born July 15, 1926 in Mount Ayr, Iowa to John Thomas and Mary Maude (SMITH) GOLLIDAY. She died August 14, 2011 in Mount Ayr, Iowa at the age of 85.

Leatrice graduated from the Mount Ayr high school. She married Calvin RINEHART on July 12, 1946. He preceded her in death July 14, 2011.

Leatrice was a very religious person, accepting the Lord as her Savior at a young age. She enjoyed reading the Bible and going to church as long as her health permitted. She was a member of the First United Church of Diagonal, Iowa. She was [a] homemaker who took great pride at her hard work at home as well as helping others.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Steve RINEHART; a daughter. Diane HARTLEY; her parents, and her only brother, Harold GOLLIDAY.

Leatrice is survived by two sons, Danny RINEHART of Davis City, Iowa and Jerry RINEHART of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Debbie BURTON of Maloy, Iowa; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life.

Leatrice will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Pastor Brent BAXLEY officiated. Interment was in the Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, Missouri.
