OBITUARY - RUTH LORRAINE (JAEGER) RUBIN

On June 22, and a bit unexpectedly, Ruth Lorraine (JAEGER) RUBIN, age 91, joined the mate of her soul, Louis RUBIN, once again, who preceded her in leaving this plane earlier this year. Born in a tiny Iowa farm town, Ruth lost her mother at an early age and was sent out to Tacoma as a young teen to live with her aunt and uncle. She graduated from Stadium High School and went on to earn her B.A. from the University of Washington. Shortly after, she met and married Lou. They were together for 68 years, and are now together again. She always exuded grace, dignity, and a positive attitude. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Mark (Kathryn) and Paul (Nancy), four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the chapel at Temple de Hirsch Sinai, 1441 16th Ave., on Tuesday, June 28, at 2 pm.
