OBITUARY - SALLY (GREENROD) LUNSTRUM

Sally LUNSTRUM, a long time resident of Edmonds, WA, died peacefully on November 11, 2006 with family at her side.

Born on January 23, 1923 in Diagonal, Iowa to Ethel and Leland GREENROD, Sally grew up in the Valley View and Riverside areas near Boise. In 1941 she graduated from Boise High with her classmate and future husband of 60 years, Dick LUNSTRUM. They married on May 3, 1946 in Seattle. While living here she worked for Northern State Hospital, Boeing and General Insurance Company of America.

Sally prided herself on the wonderful homes she provided for sons, Greg, Kirk and Eric in Boise, Belleview, Albuquerque, Arvada and Sunnyvale. In addition to Dick and her sons, she is survived by grandchildren; Braden, Kristin, Janys, Megan; and daughter-in-law, Sarah.

Her many friends and neighbors will remember Sally for her love of bridge and for all of her traveling adventures.

A Celebration of Life for Sally will be held in Edmonds, WA at South County Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. at 1:00 p.m. on Dec 9th. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sally's name to the Salvation Army, would be appreciated.
