OBITUARY.

Died, on Sunday, March 31, 1895, Patrick TURNEY at his home three miles south of Kellerton, aged 33. He was a native born Iowa boy. Pat, as he was called by everybody, was an exemplary young man. He was a quiet, reliable, industrous and the soul of honor. He never married, but lived with his brother Wm. TURNEY. He was elected township assessor at the November election. He had just finished his work of assessing Athens township, when he was stricken down with fever, to rise no more. His relatives have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood for he had the respect and love of all that knew him.

NOTE: Patrick TURNEY was born in 1861. He was interred at Lewis Cemetery near Kellerton, Ringgold County,Iowa.
