Saturday, June 6, 1931, aged fourteen years, eleven months and twenty-two days. He spent all of his live in Ringgold county except four and one-half years when the family lived in Molalla, Oregon.

Harold was a junior in the Delphos consolidated school, having successfully completed the first half of the high school course. In school he was industrious and sincere in his work. He was popular with the teachers and pupils on account of his cheerful disposition and friendly attitude.

In his home he was trustworthy, lovable, industrious and an affectionate son and brother. His friends were numbered by his entire acquaintances.

In his last illness he was cheerful, hopeful and fought with determination to overcome his illness as did all the skill that medical science knew, all that trained nurses could do, and all that loving parents and friends could do.

He is survived by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. His oldest brother, John of Molalla, Oregon, was unable to return to Iowa, Paul and Doyle, younger brothers, at home; the sisters, Mrs. LeRoy LUCAS of Afton and Gladys and Zola at home. Besides the immediate family he leaves many relatives and a host of other friends.

He attended the Christian church at Delphos and obeyed the command of his Lord in baptism of the christian faith and died at peace with his Maker.

II Timothy 4:7, 8.-I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.

Rev. Dennis DILLE, his pastor, conducted the funeral services at the Christian church in Delphos Monday afternoon at two o'clock and interment was in Middle Fork cemtery.
