OBITUARY - FRED J. TOMAN

Fred J. TOMAN, 82, passed away March 25, 1964 in Albany, Oregon. He was the son of Joseph and Frances TOMAN, and was born in Diagonal, IA in 1881. In 1909 he homesteaded near Witten, SD, and married Marie MAULIS at Winner, SD in may 1917. They lived in SD until June 1956 when they moved to Albany, OR. Fred had been retired since 1941, and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral services were held March 28, 1964 at the church with the Rev. Martin W. DOHERTY officiating. Interment was in Willamette Memorial Park, Albany, OR.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, Arthur C. of Kansas City MO, Robert T. of Los Angeles CA, two daughters, Mrs. William (Verona) O'BRIEN of Albany OR, Mrs. James (Blanche) LANGDON of Sacramento CA, three brothers, Otto of Pontiac MI, Rudolph of St. Paul MN, Joe of Chula Vista CA; five sisters, Mrs. Anna PESIK of Creston IA, Mrs. Frank KARAS, Mrs. Joe KARAS, Mrs. Helen BROTANEK, all of Pine City MN, Mrs. Russell JOHNSON of Pontiac MI, and 9 grandchildren. W.B.F.A. Lodge Nova Nadeje No. 215, Witten, SD extends sincere sympathy to the family
