OBITUARY - SAMUEL A. TAYLOR.

Samuel A. TAYLOR ws born at Rockford, Illinois, November 14, 1857, and died June 22, 1926, aged 68 years, six months and seven days. He was married to Lula A. SCHOCH September 26, 1881. To this union eleven children were born of which were six girls and five boys, nine of whom are now living: Mrs. James MICKAEL, Goodland, Kansas; Mrs. U. D. THORPE, Beaconsfield, Iowa; Mrs. Ben MACE, Lamar, Colo.; Mrs. J. H. TALBOT, Quitman, Miss.; Mary died at the age of two years; Robbie died as an infant; Arthur A. TAYLOR, New York City, N.Y.; Mrs. J. H. OWENS, Omaha, Neb.; Lawrence A. TAYLOR, Quitman, Miss.; Tracy TAYLOR and Fred TAYLOR. He also leaves one brother, W H. TAYLOR, of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Mary TILLIOTSON, Osceola, Iowa; Mrs. W. F. SCOTT, Greenfield, Iowa. His mother died when he was thirteen years old. His wife preceded him about fifteen years ago [?]. He has seven half-brothers and sisters of this state; also five grandchildren, Avery and Austin MICKAEL, Kenneth, Emmett and Byron THORP.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church at Beaconsfield by Rev. BRIGGS, of Kellerton. Interment was at Oliver Cemetery [near Ellston].

NOTE: Samuel's wife Lula A. (SCHOCH) TAYLOR was born on January 27, 1869, and died March 22, 1929, which is in disagreement with Samuel's obituary.
