OBITUARY.

Died, Saturday, July 8th, 1893, Leta SULLIVAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fielding SULLIVAN of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, aged 10 years, 5 months and 5 days. Leta I. SULLIVAN was born in Mt. Ayr, February 3, 1882. About two years ago she accidentally fell from a hammock and received no doubt a serious internal injury. She did not complain at the time and but little trouble was apparent, but in time very serious trouble was developed. She passed through a long season of suffering, but came to her end with a child like faith. She naturally possessed a cheerful loveable disposition and made herself agreeable to all, and very dear to many. Her bereaved parents may well follow her departing form with faith, hope and even joy - joy that she is with Christ which is far better. The funeral took place from the Christian church Sunday, July 9th, at 2 p.m., and was conducted by Rev. N. G. BROWN, and the remains were laid in the south [Rose Hill] cemetery.
