NOTICE of DEATH.

We regret to record the death of Mrs. P. E. SPITZER, who passed into another world on the morning of the 3d inst., between the hours of one and two o'clock. Mr. SPITZER and family were living at Eualey, in the northern part of Mich. at the time of the great confingratin through that country, and suffered the loss of their entire worldly possessions. On account of poor health of Mrs. S. they came west, arriving at our town during the month of last November. Though her health improved for a time, she was taken about three weeks ago with the lung fever, which proved to be a slow but sure agent to transport her from this work of perplexing cares and transitory happiness, to that world of which we have the brightest assurance that sorrow can never enter. A kind and attentive husband with two small children are left to mourn.
