OBITUARY.

Miss Myra SIMPSON, daughter of J. M. and J. E. SIMPSON, of Ringgold county, Iowa, died at her home, of consumption.

The deceased was highly esteemed, and will be missed by a large circle of acquaintances. The teachers will miss her when assembled in their associations. The M. E. church, of which she was a member, will miss her. In the home, also, her place will be vacant. She was quite a sufferer for some months prior to her decease. She died trusting in the Savior, and rests in peace. She was born February 15, 1867, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, came with her parents to this county in 1876, died June 13, 1889, being a little more than twenty-two years of age.

NOTE: Myra's father James M. SIMPSON was born December 26, 1832, and died May 10, 1888. Her mother Jane Edith (?) SIMPSON was born June 25, 1832, and died April 22, 1911. Myra and her parents were interred at Harmony Cemetery, Shannon City, Iowa.
