OBITUARY - LUCILLE J. (CLARK) SHIELDS

CACHE, OK -- Funeral for Lucille J. SHIELDS, 67, Cache, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Cache with the Rev. Jennifer LONG officiating. Mrs. SHIELDS died Monday, July 18, 2005, at her home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton under direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.

She was born August 6, 1937, in Kellerton, Iowa, to Jack and Elberta (DORSETT) CLARK. She graduated from high school in Ellston, Iowa. On April 21, 1955, she married Jasper N. "Jack" SHIELDS. He died August 4, 2000. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons and a daughter-in-law: Raymond SHIELDS and Roger and Marsha SHIELDS, all of Norman; and Larry and Douglas SHIELDS, both of Cache; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Jackie and Joyce CLARK, Keith and Jill CLARK, all of Creston, Iowa; and Dale and Debbie CLARK, Cache; two sisters-in-law: Pat CLARK, Cache; and Alvina CLARK, Iowa; four grandchildren: Jessica, Jackie, Brian and Brandon SHIELDS; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Otis CLARK and Daniel CLARK; and a son, James SHIELDS.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at The Gathering House at Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. to the time of the service Thursday at the church.

Lucille J. SHIELDS, 67, of Cache, Okla., formerly of Kellerton, died July 18, 2005, at her home.

Services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, July 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Cache, Okla. The Rev. Jennifer LONG will officiate the service. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens at Lawton, Okla. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Gathering House at Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick, Okla., and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at The First United Methodist Church in Cache, Okla.
