OBITUARY - MRS. ROBERT H. RILEY

Rachel LOVE was born October 30, 1830, and was married to Robert H. RILEY November 26, 1849. On May 15 she passed from this life leaving to mourn her loss a husband 79 years old and five children, who were all present at the funeral. Two children died years ago. The living are Sarah Ellen STINER, Wm. L. RILEY, J. V. RILEY, Hamilton A. RILEY, and Robert RILEY. The funeral was conducted from the home by Reverand HENRY, after which the body was placed in the Oberlin Cemetery. The aged father and children have the sympathy of the community.

NOTE: James C. B. RILEY, son of Rachel (LOVE) and Robert Harman RILEY, died at the age of 24 years, 6 months and two days on May 15, 1877 with interment at Oberlin Cemetery, Decatur County, Kansas.

Sarah Ellen (RILEY) STINER, daughter of Rachel (LOVE) and Robert Harman RILEY, wife of John STINER (1849- ?), was born in 1851, and died in 1921 with interment at Oberlin Cemetery, Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas.

William LOVE was Rachel (LOVE) RILEY's brother.
