OBITUARY - G. GLENN CAMPBELL

G. Glenn CAMPBELL was born at Yuma County, Colorado on April 24, 1916, the son of William Clinton & Mabel Lenore (EASTIN) CAMPBELL. Glenn graduated from high school in 1933 and received his Masters Degree from N.W. Missouri State College. On July 6, 1938, Glenn married Helen Lucille MANCHESTER in Bethany, MO. Glenn was a teacher, teaching at Mount Ayr and several other schools in the county. He also farmed as well as taught school.

Glenn died on November 11, 2007 at the Health Care Center in Mount Ayr.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Dorn, Kenneth & his wife Maude, and N.H.; sister Corine & her husband Bud HAMAKER; daughter-in-law Donna Campbell; great-granddaughter Kelsey Ann STEPHENS.

Survivors include his wife Helen of Mount Ayr; sons Gary (Jean) CAMPBELL of Leon and Dennis CAMPBELL of Kellerton; daughters Sheryl (Bob) SMITH of Dexter, MN and Susan (Gerald) SCHAEFER of Des Moines; 7 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 3 adopted grea-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren; sister Phyllis (Pete) DANIELS of Leon; and a sister-in-law Georgia CAMPBELL of Mount Ayr.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007, Wilson - Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe Street, Mount Ayr, Iowa.
