OBITUARY - LAWRENCE MOSBARGER.

Lawrence Wilson MOSBARGER, son of Charles A. and Lota MOSBARGER, was born in the home west of Kellerton, July 1, 1913, and died in the Sisters hospital in St. Joseph, Mo., December 23, 1928, at the age of 15 years, six months and 22 days. On December he was taken ill with flu, he recovered so that he attended school on Wednesday. Then a relapse followed. On Friday evening he was taken with convultions (sic) and taken to the hospital Saturday morning at 10:30, where everything was done to relieve his suffering that medical aid could do, but the Heavenly Father claimed his spirit Sunday evening at 6:45 o'clock. He was a sophomore in the Kellerton school from which he will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Methodist Sunday school and was faithful in attendance. He was a boy of unusual cheery disposition. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father and mother; one brother, Arthur; one grandmother, Mrs. Ellen MOSBARGER; one grandfather, Wm. Douglas FOSTER, of Mercedes, Calif., and many other relatives and a community of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Wednesday afternoon at two-thiry, conducted by Rev. J. E. CLARK. Some of his chums and members of his class acted as pall bears (sic) and six sophomore girles acted as honorary pall bears (sic). [Interment was at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.

NOTE: Arthur MOSBARGER, Lawrence's brother, was born August 13, 1911, and died November 8, 1989 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery. Charles A. "Charlie" MOSBARGER was born in 1888 and died 1958 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery. Lota MOSBARGER was born on October 2, 1888,and died March 25, 1970 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery.
