OBITUARY - MRS. L. J. MILLER.

Margaret E. GALE, daughter of James and Lydia GALE, was born in Libertytownship, Ringgold county, Iowa, September 2, 1863, and died at her home in Kellerton, Iowa, March 1, 1931.

She was married to L. J. MILLER April 24, 1881. To this union were born four sons, Clarence A. of Clearfield, Charles H. at home, Elmer C. of Sand Springs, Okla., and Guy E. of Beaconsfield, of of whom with their father were at the bedside when she died. Besides her immediate family she leaves three brothers, Ed GALE of Grand River, Frank GALE of Tanie county, Missouri; J. C. GALE of Ellston; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie PARSONS of Elk Mills, Maryland, and Mrs. Dora BECON of Philadelphia, Penn; one half sister, Minnie GALE, of Murray, Iowa, and eight grandchildren besides many other relatives and friends. Although she has had poor health for a number of years her last sickness lasted only a week. Mrs. MILLER united with the Methodist church in Beaconsfield in 1890 and since that time has lived an exemplary christian life and told her husband just before she died she was ready to go to be with her Master. her going marks the passing of a devoted wife and mother, always solicitous for the welfare of those around her and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Kellerton in charge of Rev. YOUNG and interment made in Maple Row cemetery [Kellerton, Iowa].

NOTE: Leonard J. MILLER, husband of Margaret E. (GALE), was born in 1857, and died in 1937 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.
